If you had told me a few years ago that I’d willingly put away my welder and completely change the way I offered permanent jewelry, I probably would’ve laughed.
For two years, I loved creating welded permanent jewelry. I invested thousands of dollars in equipment, hauled heavy gear to every event, worried about gas tanks, power sources, maintenance, and making sure everything was working perfectly before every appointment.
It worked… but it wasn’t exactly simple.
As my business continued to grow, so did my desire for something that fit the life I actually wanted to live.
As a nurse, wife, mom, YaYa, and business owner, my schedule isn’t exactly quiet. I wanted a business that could fit into my life instead of requiring my life to revolve around it.
That’s when I discovered the non-welded permanent jewelry model.
Honestly, I was skeptical at first. I had the same questions everyone else has.
“Will it stay on?”
“Is it really permanent?”
“Will customers love it?”
The answer has been a resounding YES.
These unique clasps are specifically designed for permanent jewelry. They’re secure, durable, and built to stay put until someone intentionally removes them. My customers love having the same permanent jewelry experience without sparks, welding equipment, or the intimidating setup.
But the biggest transformation wasn’t just for my customers.
It was for me.
Today, my entire business fits inside one bag.
I can set up almost anywhere—a boutique, coffee shop, salon, teacher’s lounge, vendor market, someone’s kitchen table, or even poolside with friends.
No welder.
No argon tank.
No extension cords.
No heavy equipment.
Just me, beautiful jewelry, and meaningful conversations.
The freedom has been incredible.
I spend less time worrying about equipment and more time serving people.
I can say “yes” to opportunities that simply weren’t practical before.
I can travel easier, set up faster, and help more women start businesses of their own without asking them to invest thousands of dollars before they’ve made their first sale.
That’s probably my favorite part.
When women ask me how to start a permanent jewelry business today, I can honestly tell them they don’t have to spend thousands like I did.
They can start for under $200.
They receive the tools, chains, bangles, training, mentorship, and ongoing support all in one place. No piecing together supplies from multiple vendors. No guessing what’s good quality. No spending months trying to figure it all out.
I’ve walked both paths.
I’ve built the welded business.
And I’ve built the non-welded business.
For this season of my life, the non-welded model has given me something even more valuable than convenience.
It’s given me freedom.
Freedom to serve.
Freedom to travel.
Freedom to mentor other women.
Freedom to build a business around my family instead of the other way around.
Most importantly, it’s allowed me to use this business as something much bigger than selling jewelry.
It’s become my ministry.
Every bracelet has a story.
Every appointment is an opportunity to encourage someone.
Every new artist I mentor is another woman discovering that she can build something she never thought was possible.
Looking back, I’m so thankful for where I started because it taught me so much.
But looking ahead?
I know I’m exactly where God intended me to be.
Sometimes the biggest blessing isn’t working harder.
Sometimes it’s finding a better way.
And for me, the non-welded permanent jewelry model has been exactly that.
